Why Wasn’t ‘The View’ On, Where Will Episode Air?
Many fans were shocked when they turned on ABC to watch The View, but it wasn’t on. Even more fans were disappointed because the show was supposed to feature musical guest Usher. However, there is a good reason the talk show wasn’t on, and fans can still catch the missed episode.
Here is why The View wasn’t on and where fans can see the episode.
Why Was The View Not On Wednesday?
Fans who turned on ABC to watch The View on Wednesday didn’t get to see the popular daytime talk show. The episode was filmed and is available, but it wasn’t on television at its scheduled time. There is a very good reason for its absence. ABC aired the 9/11 memorial service.
Anyone who checked out the TV Guide saw that the episode would pause to allow the memorial service to air in its place. The problem is that ABC didn’t cancel the episode, but it is still available. There is no word on what the women talked about, but expect a discussion of the Presidential Debate.
Grammy award-winning artist Usher is also scheduled to appear on the live episode.
This remains slightly disappointing since fans were just getting back into watching the show since its return from summer break. The series showed off its brand-new set, and all the women even have new personalized coffee mugs. According to reports, the new studio cost around $10 million.
This cost actually angered many staffers since the studio paid for it after laying off workers in cost-cutting measures.
Where To Watch The View Missed Episode
This leads many fans to wonder where they can see The View’s missed episode. When the show airs on ABC, it is always its first screening. However, it also streams on Hulu, Disney+, Sling TV, fuboTV, and YouTube TV. These are all paid streaming options and offer next-day streaming of ABC TV episodes.
It is also available to watch in full on YouTube for free:
Fans can also log in to watch it on the ABC website. However, if they don’t have a TV subscriber, they can wait a week and watch the episode next week without worrying about logging in.
This season’s panel includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Fans are enjoying the show as much as possible because there are rumors surrounding the show’s dwindling ratings recently.
According to reports, the network will decide on the show’s fate soon. Rumors indicate that Barbara Walters’s death in 2022 might have hurt the show’s future. Even retired, she was a huge cheerleader for the show.
