Nikki Garcia’s Friends Call Husband Artem ‘A Monster’

Nikki Garcia has never said anything negative about her husband Artem Chigvintsev, but her friends are not holding back their thoughts on their relationship.

Recently, Nikki’s husband Artem was arrested for alleged domestic violence against her. The 911 call revealed that the couple went through a dispute while their 4-year-old son was present.

Chigvintsev was given a felony charge and he was quickly released from custody after paying a $25,000 bond.

Nikki hasn’t said a thing since the arrest, but according to a source close to her, her girlfriends think she should stay far away from him.

“Friends are telling Nikki she married a monster. And she wants out. This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time,” the source shared. Nikki hasn’t confirmed the message yet.

Is Divorce Coming Up?

There have been several rumors going around that Nikki has already gotten a divorce lawyer to deal with ending the relationship.

If she does go through with the filing, this would be her second public breakup. Garcia’s first was when she and John Cena broke off their engagement a few years ago. This would be Artem’s second divorce.

Right now, it’s up in the air about their child and whether she would be seeking full parental custody. It’s also important to note that at the moment, they are both still following each other on social media. And, their photos with each other are still up.

Artem’s Former Partners Speak Out

Before becoming Nikki’s husband, Artem built a name for himself as a dancer. Specifically, he’s been a pro performer on Dancing With The Stars for years.

After the news of his domestic charge, his former DWTS partner Lea Thompson came clean about her experience working with him.

“He was so intense. It was so much more important to him than to me, honestly. And so that made me really nervous, it made me crazy after a while,” she vented on a podcast.

Thompson went on to say that he would get mad at her if she tried to share any of her ideas. The actress also claimed that he once told her that “men are much better than women”.

Fern Britton, who was his partner on Strictly Come Dancing, alleged nearly 10 years Artem was physical toward her.

“We would be in hold and he would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me,” she claimed. Chigvintsev profusely denied her allegations at the time.
