The Voice Season 26 is fast approaching. Fans are in for new surprises from the coaches’ seats to the schedule. Here is what to know about the upcoming season.

This Is The Voice

If it’s hard to tell by the number of seasons they are on, The Voice is a very popular TV show. The show is known for being unique to other talent shows.

The Voice has the judges facing away from the stage with a button in front of them. Additionally, since the judges are unable to see the performer, they are solely judging based on the voice, rather than the appearance.

Once the judge decides they want to add the talented singer to their team, they hit their button and their chair will turn around to face the stage and performer. At the end of their performance, if more than one judge has turned, the performers can choose which team they would like to be a part of.

The Judges

There have been some changes made to the judges’ chairs this season. Some names have been removed and some have been added. Furthermore, some familiar faces will be returning.

Reba is returning for her third season and Gwen Stefani is returning for her eighth season. Additionally, this is only the second time that the two have sat in the judges’ seats for the same season.

The final two coaches are joining for the first time. John Legend is not returning this season, unfortunately. However, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg will be joining as first-time coaches. Bublé has appeared on the show before, but not as a coach. He was selected as an advisor in Season 3 for Blake Shelton’s team.
