‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Where Do Zac & Jen Stand?
After The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered, viewers felt shocked and appalled at Zac Affleck’s behavior onscreen.
During a girls’ night in Las Vegas, Zac unleashed a tirade of horrible insults and criticisms at his wife Jen, leaving her in tears. Ultimately, Jen left Vegas early and went home.
When the rest of the Mormon Wives cast called Jen, she shared that she and Zac patched things up and were on great terms. Naturally, Jen’s friends felt horrified and afraid for their friend. They ultimately intervened, encouraging her to leave Zac.
But by the end of the series, the Afflecks left Utah behind and went to New York so Zac would attend medical school. So where do the couple stand today?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Star Jen Affleck Gives A Marriage Update
When promos for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives first came out, fans felt intrigued by Zac and Jen Affleck. Actor Ben Affleck is Zac’s second cousin, making viewers incredibly curious. However, Jen confirmed she never met the actor and Zac hardly knows him.
As the series continued, viewers became outraged over the family’s dynamic and prayed Jen would leave her husband.
To many fans’ disappointment, the Afflecks are still happily married. Jen spoke out after the series came out and defended her decision to stay.
“I think we’ll be able to watch the first couple episodes together. As for the end, I might have to watch it by myself. In a room. With a tissue box,” the Mormon Wives star told Too Fab. They reportedly went to therapy after filming and worked on their issues together.
“I feel like since the show ended, we’ve been doing nonstop therapy, and so at this point, I really feel like we’ve healed from everything and we’ve been completely vulnerable and honest,” Jen continued. “It definitely needed to happen. It’s definitely helped us in so many ways. And I think at this point, it’s only just exposure therapy.”

What Could A Second Season Entail?
Those who tuned into The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had a wide range of opinions on the reality show. Some loved it, while others thought it was a complete disaster. Either way, the end of Episode 8 left room for a possible second season.
If Hulu orders more episodes, Zac and Jen’s marriage will likely be a focal point. But at this point, most viewers would prefer to see Jen kick her husband to the curb and move on without him.
