Lindsay Arnold Dishes On ‘The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’
Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold is a faithful member of the LDS church. Like many other church members, Hulu’s new reality show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, certainly caught her attention.
As a fellow Mormon, how did Lindsay Arnold react to the show’s nature? And what did she have to say about the stars’ actions and behavior? See what the professional dancer had to say about the situation.
Lindsay Arnold & Other Pro Dancers Grew Up In The LDS Church
Lindsay Arnold has always been outspoken about her faith. But she’s not the only DWTS star to hail from Utah and grow up in the church. Derek and Julianne Hough, Witney Carson, Jenna Johnson, and Brandon Armstrong all come from Mormon families in Utah.
While some of the dancers have moved on from the LDS church, Lindsay Arnold Cusick and her husband Sam are happily raising their children in the faith.
Her family’s continued participation in the LDS church is one reason Lindsay Arnold found The Secret Lives of Mormon Housewives so interesting.
The Mormon church preaches social conservativism, which isn’t something that the stars of the Hulu series exactly pursue.

The Dancer Shares Her Thoughts On The New Show & Her Faith
In a new TikTok, Lindsay Arnold discussed the show and her own personal feelings about the LDS faith.
“I have been part of the church since I was born,” the mother of two shared with her followers. “The church has been a very positive thing in my life, and just like with any religion, culture [or] family, all of us have our own individual experiences of how those things affect our lives, affect our viewpoints, just affect everything about who we are as people. And just as much as I can see that the church has brought light and positivity to my life, I do understand that it’s not the case for everyone.”
Since Lindsay lives in Utah, she said she met many of the cast members. However, she never had negative experiences with any of them.
“I’m not gonna say that there wasn’t some serious stuff that went down, for people who believe this. But I want you to understand that that’s exactly what the producers of this show wanted out of this,” she shared. “When it comes to reality TV, you are looking to create entertainment.”
