‘Bold & Beautiful’: Brad Bell Talks Killing Off More Characters
It seems soap opera fans are always concerned about their favorite characters dying. It often happens, and more often than not, it is done so that the characters can come back in the future by miraculously surviving. However, one soap that this might happen more often on is The Bold and the Beautiful. That is because Brad Bell says he wants to kill characters every year.

Brad Bell Promises To Kill Characters Every Year On The Bold And The Beautiful
There have been a lot of characters who died this year on The Bold and the Beautiful. This has many fans shook, while wondering who could die next. When Sheila died, it was a huge moment, even though it turned out she didn’t die, and her doppelganger Sugar died instead.
According to head writer Brad Bell, “killing” Sheila was important for her character, and he plans to kill more soon. “Villains typically need a cooling off period, which just adds to the drama to their return,” he said (via Deadline). “And Sheila needs to cool her heels once in a while.”
Brad admitted that she wasn’t going to really die because Sheila is a “ratings dynamo.” However, he said despite her killing so many people, she is married, working at a restaurant, and seemingly forgiven. “Somehow, people forgive her because she’s always looked for love and acceptance. That’s something that we can all relate to,” Brad said.
However, things are going to get dangerous for other characters in the popular daytime soap opera. Brad knows how important deaths are on these shows.
Who Could Die Next On The Bold And The Beautiful
Brad Bell said he is always looking for the next character he can kill. This is even so close after two major characters just died with Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers). Many people thought their killer, Luna ((Lisa Yamada), would also die, but she ended up captured and arrested instead.
Bell even warned against getting comfortable because another character could die before the year ends. “It’s always scary, and it’s always difficult to say goodbye, but again, very necessary,” he said. “You have to kill them every once in a while in order to keep your credibility as a writer. And I promise myself every year I’m going to kill more people.”
