Nikki Garcia Vanishes From Artem Chigvintsev’s Instagram Bio
Nikki Garcia vanishes from Artem Chigvintsev’s Instagram bio and it is most likely due to his arrest for domestic abuse. Nikki’s name being removed, makes it clear that their relationship is no longer as happy as social media made it seem.
Artem Chigvintsev’s Instagram Bio
The famous couple seemed happy in love for a very long time as shown by both of their Instagram profiles. Artem even had Nikki’s Instagram linked in his bio with bride and diamond ring emojis. By Friday, September 6th, the link was removed along with the emojis.
Currently, his bio says: “Father to Matteo, DWTS Pro Dancer, Emmy Nominated Choreographer, DWTS Mirror Ball Wimmer, SCD Mirror Ball Winner” with some emojis throughout to represent his achievements.
The couple was partnered for Season 25 of Dancing With The Stars in 2017 which is where they first met. The series is what Artem is best known for. Additionally, Nikki was a WWE star. She recently hosted a reality show with her sister called Twin Love to help other twins find love with other twins.
Nikki was engaged to fellow WWE legend, John Cena. After a long relationship, they ended things and she began a relationship with Artem in 2019. Their marriage came three years later in August 2022.
The couple has a beautiful young boy, Matteo who was born in July 2020. Furthermore, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary last month as Nikki revealed that she knew Artem was the one when they met.
The Arrest
Everything went downhill soon after the anniversary celebration. It was revealed on August 29th that Artem had been arrested in Napa County, for domestic violence. This was found on online jail records by US Weekly.
US Weekly was also informed by Napa Valley Sheriff PIO Henry Wofford that around 10 in the morning, the department had responded to a call in Yountville, California which is where they found Chigvintsev.
Wofford was able to talk to the victim and he expressed that the suspect was taken into custody without resistance. After being officially brought in at 10:40 am, he was released later that afternoon with his $25,000 bail.
The victim has asked to remain anonymous according to the authorities so they will not release any details about the victim. Additionally, the Napa Valley Police Department revealed that if a suspect has been taken into custody for a felony of domestic violence, then there had to have been an injury that was visible at the time they booked the suspect.
TMZ got the 911 dispatch recording at the end of August where Artem asked for medical assistance because Nikki had allegedly thrown shoes at him in a supposed argument. However, just a few minutes later, Artem tried to cancel the call, declaring he no longer needed the medical help.
A day later, Nikki spoke out through a representative, asking for privacy for the time being. Until the arraignment on November 4th, his case will continue to be reviewed. Napa County D.A. Spokesperson, Carols Villatoro said that they will be looking over witness statements, footage, and evidence. The proceedings will be announced as soon as the evaluations are complete.
