Bosch: Legacy will end with Season 3. On Friday, Amazon announced that the third season of the OG spinoff starring Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers, and Madison Linz will end in 2025. Here are all the details including whether this Bosch Universe will continue.
Bosch: Legacy Ending With Season 3
On Friday, Deadline reported that Bosch: Legacy will end with Season 3. Including the seven seasons of the original, that is 10 seasons total featuring the Michael Connelly character. This Prime Video and Amazon Freevee spinoff stars Titus Welliver as the title character.
Now, he is a retired homicide detective. However, unable to fully retire from unsolved crimes, he has become a private investigator. Still in his life is Honey “Money” Chandler, portrayed by Mimi Rogers. She “struggles to maintain her father in the justice system after surviving a murder attempt.” Lastly, this series also features daughter Maddie, who is a rookie patrol cop. She is learning what sort of officer she wants to become as she navigates the challenges she faces.

When Will Amazon Prime Premiere Season 3?
When should viewers expect to see Bosch: Legacy Season 3, the final season? That will be in March 2025. This will be available on Amazon Prime and Freevee. The exact premiere date will be forthcoming.

How Will Renée Ballard Continue Bosch Story?
Now that Amazon Prime is ending Bosch: Legacy, is this the end? Not so, says Michael Connelly, the writer and executive producer of the series. On Friday, he went to Instagram to talk about this transition. Sharing a photo of him along with Titus Welliver, he shared this message reiterating how the series will end, but the OG Universe will not end.
I’m happy to announce that the third season of Bosch: Legacy will premiere on Prime in March. I think it’s our best yet. It will also be the last season, bringing to a fitting close a 10 season run with this character, played so well by Titus Welliver. But fear not, we are currently in production on the Renée Ballard show. And if you know anything about my books, then you know you have not seen the last of Harry Bosch!
Therefore, when the untitled Renée Ballard spinoff comes out, viewers should expect to see more of the the detective-turned private investigator. But of all, this will be available to watch on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee in the fall of 2025.
Renée Ballard stars Maggie Q as Ballard. As Michael Connelly promises, Harry Bosch is part of this universe. Therefore, fans should expect Titus Welliver in this series. However, there is no indication anyone else will follow him to this spinoff.
