The full Dancing With The Stars Season 33 cast list is finally here! The competitors appeared on Good Morning America this morning to make their grand appearance. There were plenty of surprises about this year’s cast list, including a smaller talent pool.
So who will join the ballroom this fall? Read on to see the list.
The DWTS Season 33 Contestants Make Their Debut On Good Morning America
It’s tough to imagine fall without a new season of Dancing With The Stars. Viewers are eager to learn more about the new cast and see what they bring to the ballroom.
Right away, a few changes are obvious.
Season 33 will feature Ezra Sosa’s debut as a full-time pro. In prior seasons, he often stepped in when a pro was unable to perform. In a recent interview, he shared he’s incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to connect with the audience.
This year’s competing couples include:
- Ezra Sosa and con artist Anna Delvey
- Rylee Arnold and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik
- Alan Bersten and Olympic Rugby player Ilona Maher
- Witney Carson and wide receiver Danny Amendola
- Sasha Farber and The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran
- Jenna Johnson and The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei
- Val Chmerkovskiy and The Traitors star Phaedra Parks
- Pasha Pashkov and actress Tori Spelling
- Daniella Karagach and NBA superstar Dwight Howard
- Emma Slater and Family Matters star Reginald VelJohnson
- Gleb Savchenko and supermodel Brooks Nader
- Britt Stewart and actor Eric Roberts
- Brandon Armstrong and actress Chandler Kinney
Many fans believed Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce would compete this fall. Sadly, it seems that it wasn’t meant to be. However, this cast has a lot of potential.

Many Pro Dancers Aren’t Returning For Season 33
A smaller contestant pool sadly means that many fan-favorite pros didn’t make the cut for DWTS Season 33. Peta Murgatroyd voluntarily chose to sit out after welcoming her third child over the summer. Lindsay Arnold is also taking a break from the show to focus on motherhood.
Executives didn’t invite Season 29 champion Artem Chigvintsev for Season 33. Shortly after receiving the bad news, he was arrested for domestic violence at his home in Napa Valley.
Sasha Farber was initially not expected to have a celebrity partner this year. Rumor had it that he was part of the troupe and might sub in as needed. However, last-minute casting changes happen each year. It seems that Jenn Tran opted to join the show at the last minute, giving Sasha a partner.
