Controversial Chef Paula Deen, 77, Flaunts New Weight Loss

Paula Deen loses a significant amount of weight
Paula Deen, known for her down-home southern cooking and prior time spent as a Food Network chef, has been on a weight loss journey and is sharing her new body on social media. The chef took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself for Labor Day. Of course, she was sharing a recipe for the holiday, however, that’s not what fans are noticing.
In the picture she posted, Paula is wearing a bright yellow long-sleeve shirt with a long, green statement necklace. She’s all smiles as she shows off her bright white teeth and blue eyes. The cooking star is noticeably skinnier than she has been in the past. Prior to this, she had a very round face framed by her brightly colored hair. Fans instantly took to the comments to discuss and praise the star for her hard work on her body.

Others join in in agreement, even saying Paula looks like she is 35. As a 77-year-old, this likely comes as a huge compliment to the star.

It seems like in the ten years since her massive Food Network scandal, the star has really taken the time to turn her life around and treat her body right.
Fired from Food Network
As mentioned above, this new weight loss comes ten years after the scandal in which she was fired from Food Network. As previously reported, Paula was formerly sued by Lisa Jackson for racial discrimination. During this time, Paula also admitted to using the ‘n-word.’ Because of all of this, Food Network fired Paula after being a star on the show for 14 years. In addition to being a Food Network star, Paula is a restaurant owner and an author.
After a long time out of the spotlight, Paula has emerged with not only a new body but a new Youtube channel as well where she is able to continue cooking and sharing food with the thousands of fans that she still has. Currently, Paula has more than 550,000 subscribers on YouTube and 520,000 followers on her Instagram.
