‘GMA’ Michael Strahan Reveals Exciting New Job
Michael Strahan has done a lot over his career. He was one of the best NFL defensive players in football, setting records along the way. Strahan is a host on Good Morning America, and is someone morning talk show fans love to see on their TV. He even was on Dancing With the Stars. Now, he gets to do something new and exciting next.
Here is what Michael Strahan has revealed he will be doing next.
Michael Strahan Announces New Job
Michael Strahan has been off and on Good Morning America over the summer. While there was a good reason for it, he mostly kept silent on his absences. Now, he will apparently be missing more episodes in the future. Strahan has a new job coming up that will take him off TV for a short time.
Michael Strahan will be the guest speaker at Advertising Week New York. According to the reports, the event will teach people the “360-approach to talent management, building beloved consumer brands and much more” (via Hello Magazine).
It is a week-long event that includes business presidents and CEOs, founders, influencers, and Hollywood stars. Michael will be one of those stars. He is representing a company he helped co-found.
Michael will be joined by his SMAC Entertainment co-founder Constance Schwartz-Morini. SMAC is “Sa culture creator and connector that builds and guides multi-hyphenate, world-class talent towards dynamic and rewarding careers.”
The company represents some major names, including Common, Erin Andrews, Stefon Diggs, Nikki & Brie Bella, Wiz Khalifa, Deion Sanders, and more. Common will also be on hand to speak at the event.
For TODAY Show fans, Al Roker will also be there.
Where Was Michael Strahan Over The Summer On GMA?
Good Morning America fans have gotten used to Michael Strahan missing time over the past few months. Initially, he took a lot of time off to be with his daughter, Isabella, as she went through her cancer treatments.

After Isabella rang her bell to show her treatment concluded, Michael disappeared again. He never said why, and Good Morning America, also didn’t say anything about his absence. However, Isabella and her sister posted some photos of a Bahamas vacation, which explained everything.
Now, with Isabella returning to college at USC (her freshman year ended up interrupted after the cancer diagnosis), Michael might be getting back into the rhythm of things at Good Morning America. However, this event will take him off for just a little while longer.
Advertising Week New York takes place in October.
