Fans Worry Julie Chrisley Headed To Worse Prison Facility

Julie Chrisley is set to be resentenced next month. However, fans recently uncovered evidence that says the Chrisley Knows Best star might be headed to a worse prison facility. Here is what they found that has people asking, “Where in the world is Julie Chrisley?”

Julie Chrisley To Appear In Person In Atlanta

Todd and Julie Chrisley are both serving time for bank fraud and tax evasion. The couple reported for their prison sentences in January of 2023. Todd was initially sentenced to 12 years, while Julie was facing 7.

In September of last year, their sentences were reduced, bringing Todd down to 10 years and Julie down to 6. The Chrisley Knows Best couple has continued to fight their convictions in appeals court.

During their appeal, it was revealed that Julie might have been unfairly sentenced. There was very little evidence that could prove she knew about the fraud taking place before 2007. So, her sentence was vacated and it was determined that she would be resentenced at a later date.

As we previously reported, Julie was attempting to get out of having to appear in person for her resentencing hearing. A judge ruled that the reality star would have to be present in court.

So, Julie Chrisley will have to travel from where she is currently serving her prison sentence at FMC Lexington in Kentucky to Atlanta, Georgia. Fans think she may already be en route or headed to a holding facility.

Where Is Julie Chrisley?

Reddit user posted a screenshot of Julie’s current status in the prison system. Her current release date has not been updated (05/08/2028), but her location has changed. Currently, it says “Not in BOP custody.”

This means she is not currently in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, which could happen for a number of reasons. Julie may have been released, but that isn’t likely. The other two reasons this could happen are that she’s traveling to make an appearance in court or she is receiving medical treatment.

“For sure she is on her way to her court hearing. She is going to be in a county jail somewhere around her court,” one Reddit user commented. “Even if she was released to home confinement it shows as still in BOP custody. It will just list the area of the RRM. That is the region that monitors the ankle monitors and puts down the rules.” Julie is likely in the custody of U.S. Marshalls traveling from Lexington to Atlanta.

Fans were trying to pinpoint where she might be held in Atlanta. Several people suggested she was on her way to Fulton County Jail. If that’s the case, one person pointed out, Julie will be in for a shock.

Others suggested she could be headed to a halfway house while she awaits her trial, but that is not probable. One person predicted what Julie’s resentencing would entail. “I kinda think she will get half way house & then house arrest,” they wrote. Only time will tell.

Julie Chrisley will appear in court on September 25 to receive her new sentence.

  1. she’s probably being transferred to court in Atlanta which means sleeping in county jails along the way eating MacDonald’s three times a day and going 2-3 hundred miles out of the way if another inmate needs to be picked up.
they won’t post her whereabouts until she gets to her destination so nobody can “meet up” with her transfer vehicle and help her escape. all phones in every jail she stays in are also shut off until she’s been gone at least an hour for the same reason.

  2. ONG! Our tax dollars at work. Treating this woman as if she has murdered a dz people is taking things to the extreme. Moving her for trail should take no more than 1 person and a car. She’s not likely to jump out and run.

  3. I agree, it SHOULD take one person but that’s not how it works. 2 guards per vehicle, the inmate in handcuffs and only fast food ..more then likely, MacDonald’s. While traveling from Kentucky to Georgia, if there’s an inmate in a different state that needs to be in Atlanta also, they will pick them up also, regardless of how far out of the way it is. I knew someone who had to get to Florida from South Carolina, they went to Massachusetts first and made 5-6 additional stops. 1 day trip took 6 days….. handcuffed.

  4. Julie,
Is a criminal and she should be treated like any other female criminal.
Julie should STAY in prison for her crimes. when Julie and Todd was stealing money, they thought it was ok, now Julie and Todd need to do their prison time just like any other American citizen.

  5. I truly believe she’s going to walk with papers for parole this lady did nothing wrong she just went alone with her husband’s wrong doing

  6. Julie’s attorney can argue first offense and if the judge has a little compassion he might give five year parole and if she does not go home and stop being so divias she will do her entire sentence

  7. I totally agree…. celebrities who think they’re entitled really piss me off but nobody should time they’re not guilty of. They found insufficient evidence for only one of her crimes and she MAY get a sentence reduction for that one or they may give her time served, she still has to do the time for the other charges. She benefitted from the tax crimes, she should do her full sentence on them…..the courts don’t care how sick you are either, you’ll do the time like everyone else.

  8. the bureau of prisons just confirmed that she is NOT in their custody…all that means is that she is in the custody of some county on the way to her court date where they stopped to sleep
