Karen shares there are some challenges, continuing, “Each week I’m tweaking, constantly figuring out what works and doesn’t work!” But Karen knows change takes time. She adds, “It takes about 6 weeks to really get you and your children with a good rhythm so I’m not beating myself up too badly! 😉.”

School Time Adjustments

Several of the photos show groups of kids sitting and studying together with course worksheets. While their big table is great for family meals, it doubles as the perfect space for kids to spread out and focus on learning.

But the excitement erupted when she reached her goal on the game. They all dance and celebrate together. Furthermore, Karen explains the setup for the new school year. She adds, “Hybrid education for those that don’t know, means your child spends time on the school campus, however all their school work is done at home. Campus day(s) are for additional academic support/ clubs! Anyway, back to preparing for week 3! 🤪Happy Saturday 🥰🥰.”

  • “I’m so glad they are in public school. Your kids are so well mannered n respectful.”

  • One fan questions Karen Derrico’s choice, “Please don’t take this as a criticism, but why don’t your children attend a tradition or charter public school?” Then, Karen explains, “Well, actually they do attend public a school. It’s a very small teacher to student ratio. In their kindergarten class, it’s only 5 of them. My triplets make up over half of the class! And they have in the past attended a public school. @deonderrico and I do not want our children in a traditional 5 day a week program, and we are grateful to God that we are able to both be hands on with them. ❤️.”
  • “Well said! And parents are allowed to make that decision. It’s all up to what the parents want and can do.”
