‘Family Feud’ Player Bleeped, Stunned Steve Harvey Says ‘Stop Clapping’
Steve Harvey’s reaction to a contestant’s answer on Family Feud has viewers hysterical. There have been plenty of instances where the game show host didn’t know how to respond to a contestant’s answer. However, the latest clip shows Steve absolutely stunned, urging everyone to “stop clapping.” Here’s why.
Contestant’s NSFW Answer Shocks Steve Harvey
You would think that by now not much would surprise Steve Harvey. Contestants on Family Feud often come out with some really wild answers.
A clip from a recent episode of the game show was posted to TikTok. In it, two contestants are at the buzzer attempting to win their team a chance to play.
Steve gives the two players the survey prompt. He said, “When I was a kid, we didn’t have what?” One player’s response had the game show host absolutely floored.
Mike swiftly buzzed in with his answer, “Sh*t.” It was bleeped out and his mouth was covered with a poop emoji in the clip.
Steve Harvey gave the camera a look that Family Feud players have come to know well. He was completely shocked by Mike’s response while his family laughed.
Seeing Steve’s dumbfounded look, Mike explained his answer. “It was the first thing that came to my head,” he said.
“It was the first thing that came to your head?” Steve asked. Then he demanded the crowd “stop clapping.”
“I figured they’d buzz it if they didn’t like it,” Mike responded. “They’ll bleep it out, won’t they?”
Family Feud Fans Are Tired Of The Risque Q&As
Joking, Steve leaned over the podium and asked Mike, “What do I turn around and say? I mean, Mike, I’ve got a career here I’m working on.”
Turning around, Steve Harvey simply pointed at the board rather than repeating the word. He hollered, “It!”
The shock didn’t stop there though. He was floored when the answer wound up being number four on the board. The answer read “Any Money.”

Fans questioned how Mike’s answer was interpreted. “Um, how does that translate into money?” one person asked in the comments.
“Family feud just keeps getting easier, you can say basically anything and they’ll just give you an answer that had nothing to do with yours!” another person complained. A third simply wrote, “The Steve Harvey stare,” referring to his shocked looks. “Steve’s face be killing me,” a fourth fan added.
As Family Feud fans know, this isn’t the first time he’s been taken aback by a contestant’s answer on the game show. He’s become known for his stunned looks. Steve will raise his eyebrows, drop his jaw, and just look genuinely shocked.
More recently, fans of the show have complained that some of the questions being asked are less than family-friendly. They often sympathize with Steve Harvey for going along with it.
