Recently, the Family Feud host, Steve Harvey was given the honor of a nomination for a very special award. However, he is no stranger to the spotlight. Undeniably, he has brought his comedic act into his current hosting position with Family Feud. But now, he is being recognized for his efforts.

While Family Feud host, Steve Harvey, 67, has built his strong career over the years, he loves adding new awards along the way. On his Instagram page, he is described as a “Global philanthropist, investor and award winning entertainer.” Although he has notably earned many daytime Emmys throughout his career, he is in the running for another special award. Undeniably, it would be a great honor to add another prestigious award to his repertoire.
Steve Harvey Gets Nomination For Special Award
Recently, Steve Harvey received a nomination for an American Reality Television Award. With the 11th Annual ARTA event coming soon, Steve is in the running for Outstanding Host. Although he is primarily given recognition for being the host of Family Feud, its spinoff, Celebrity Family Feud, is behind the current nomination. However, he hasn’t captured the win just yet. He is in the Outstanding Host category competing with nine other hosts.
Undoubtedly, it is a tough choice for this ARTA with competition like Wayne Brady of Let’s Make A Deal, Terry Crews from America’s Got Talent, and Stormy Daniels from For The Love of DILFs. Likewise, he is facing off with Padma Lakshmi of Taste The Nation, Jane Lynch from The Weakest Link, Jeff Probst of Survivor Season 44, and Robin Roberts of Turning The Tables. Furthermore, other nominees include Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler of Baking It! and RuPaul of RuPaul’s Drag Race. All in all, it is a fierce competition.

Likewise, Steve Harvey’s nomination comes alongside another nomination for Celebrity Family Feud. Not only is he in the running for Outstanding Host, but the show is also vying for a win in the category of Outstanding Game Show. According to ARTA’s website, “Since 2013, The American Reality Television Awards has awarded people in front and behind the cameras in all areas in the world of unscripted television.”
Additionally, “Network, Cable, and Streaming shows and stars are eligible every year, and the vote is worldwide with millions of votes in the categories.” Fans can tune in to see if Steve snags the awards on Monday, November 18. Furthermore, the ceremony is scheduled to open the doors at 6:30 p.m. local time at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA. Then, the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets range from $75.00 up to $2,000.00, depending on the seating location.
Steve Harvey previously won ARTA’s Favorite Host/Hostess award in 2019 during the sixth annual ARTA Awards. Notably, it was also with Celebrity Family Feud.
