‘Pawn Stars’ Fans Feel Something ‘Off’ About Recent Show
While Pawn Stars promises to show real-life interactions in a pawn shop setting, some fans aren’t buying it. During a recent clip the show shared, fans thought it seemed too fake to be a real deal. In the clip, Rick Harrison heads out to see a handheld canon, but many fans reject the offer that he makes.

Rick Harrison Offered Rare Handheld Cannon On Pawn Stars
The Pawn Stars YouTube channel shared a clip from an episode with a very interesting object up for sale. A seller showed up and had a unique offer. He had a handheld cannon, and Rick wanted to see it in action. As a result, they headed out to the Las Vegas desert to use it to blow something up.
Rick Harrison, his son Corey Harrison, and an ancient firearms expert headed out to the desert with the handheld cannon’s owner. Their goal is to do something Rick seems to love: blowing things up. The idea of a handheld cannon gave him that chance once again.
The owner agreed to let Rick fire the handheld cannon. He also let them shoot footage since he feels it could help sell it in the future.
The footage saw the expert looking at the handheld cannon and admitting he had seen similar ones that sold for $10,000. He then confirmed that this specific handheld cannon was from the 1600s or possibly the 1700s. He said it was in good shape and could work as intended.
Fans Feel Pawn Stars Has Fake Offers
With all that in mind, many Pawn Stars fans watching the video seemed to feel something “off” about it. These fans believe that what the owner said about the handheld cannon was wrong.
Rick Harrison wanted to blow up a teddy bear using the handheld cannon. They went into the Las Vegas desert and set up the teddy bear. They fired the cannon and blew up the teddy bear, showing it worked as it should. After this, the expert said it was worth half of what he had said before.
The expert said it was worth $5,000 to $7,000. Rick offered the man $2,000. The fans were not happy about this. They didn’t think the cannon was fake, but they did feel the expert, and Rick was giving the owner some fake ideas of its worth:
- “Wait so the expert says they’re valued between 7k to 10k but appraises it at 5k? Something is definitely off.”
- “Right. The value goes down when they are shown to work.”
- “Guy accepted 2k is another wtf.”
