‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Fans Beg For Merrifield Spinoff

Seeking Sister Wife fans are begging for a Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield spinoff. The couple will likely be back for Season 6 of the hit TLC reality series. At the same time, it is apparently not enough as viewers want a show solely revolving around the family. So, what is the reasoning? Keep reading for more details.

Seeking Sister Wife Fans Beg For Merrifield Spinoff

Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield joined Seeking Sister Wife in Season 5 when he claimed God told him to bring in more wives. This was not appealing to his wife and it took time for her to come to terms with what her husband wanted. In the end, she agreed and they admitted they had been struggling in their marriage. Therefore, Garrick’s calling would allow him to find another woman to connect with without cheating. They found Roberta from Brazil, leading the Merrifields to get a divorce so she and Garrick could wed.

She was around until the end of Season 4 and they even tried to start a family but at the last minute, she opted to stay in Brazil. In Season 5, they found Nathalia Lima, also from Brazil, were engaged, wedding was set but Dannielle failed to connect with her. Garrick didn’t care, he flew to Brazil, but the wedding was called off because he was found to be a polygamist. Dannielle also announced she was pregnant, and they started courting a woman named Mariam but she stepped away. Nathalia also left the couple

They ended the season with a new baby and a new fiancee, Lorrana, also from Brazil. She is now in America filming for Season 6 of Seeking Sister Wife but fans want more of this family:

• I would love to see them get a spin off when they actually start having wives move in. Like a new sister wives but from the start. Like cameras in the house 24-7. I wanna see the real stuff for years. Please tlc please

This would be less of a spinoff and more of a Big Brother or Surreal Life situation. So, what did fellow fans think about this proposal?

Too Much Garrick

Though this may be intriguing to some Seeking Sister Wife fans, others were repulsed by the idea of all of that Garrick Merrifield:

• Oh please god no, I’ve seen enough of them already.
• God NO!! I don’t think TLC should reward Ick with any more attention or money. He needs to fall into obscurity.
• I am slightly ashamed that I would hate watch the sh*t out of this.
• Are you kidding? No one wants to watch them. Complete lunacy. GROSS!!
