‘Ketamine Queen’ Called Matthew Perry ‘Chandler’ In Messages
The investigation into the death of Matthew Perry has resulted in some fascinating information about the people criminally charged. Three people have pleaded guilty, and two others pleaded not guilty. One of those who claim innocence, a doctor, has already reopened his clinic. Another, an alleged drug dealer known as the Ketamine Queen, remains in jail with her bail revoked.
However, there is new information coming from the investigation. This includes evidence that might link the Ketamine Queen with Matthew Perry.
Ketamine Queen Uses Matthew Perry’s Friends Name In Correspondance
Erik Fleming pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine, resulting in death. He was an acquaintance of Perry and reportedly hooked the actor up with Jasveen Sangha. While Fleming has pleaded guilty, Sangha has pleaded not guilty.
In his plea agreement, Fleming offered to give the prosecutors information about everything he was involved with in the reported selling of ketamine to Matthew Perry. In his plea agreement, Fleming said that the Ketamine Queen referred to Perry by using “a name of a well-known character that [Perry] portrayed in a television series” (via Page Six).
While the name was not listed in the plea agreement, there is no other name other than “Chandler” that is “well-known.” Perry played Chandler Bing on Friends from 1999 to 2004. This was a total of 10 seasons and 236 episodes, as he appeared in every episode of the series.
Perry also starred in shows like the remake of The Odd Couple (as Oscar Madison, who Jack Klugman played in the original 1975 series). He also had roles in Ally McBeal, The West Wing, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. However, none of those shows has a well-known character connected with Perry as much as Chandler.
The Criminal Charges Against The Ketamine Queen
Matthew Perry’s death has resulted in five people charged with different offenses. Three of the people have pleaded guilty already. His personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death and admitted to injecting Perry with ketamine on the day he died.
A doctor named Mark Chavez pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine after admitting to selling ketamine to Dr. Salvador Plasencia. However, Plasencia has pleaded not guilty. His attorney claims his client stopped selling the ketamine to Perry two weeks before the death. As a result, he said his client should face no charges.
Cavez and Iwamasa both implicated Plasencia in their plea deals. Similarly, Erik Fleming and Iwamasa also implicated Jasveen Sangha. Neither Plasencia nor Sangha has accepted plea deals, and both have pleaded not guilty.
Sangha was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, one count of maintaining drug-involved premises, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute ketamine, and five counts of distribution of ketamine.
