‘SNL’ Star Victoria Jackson Says She Is Dying
Breast cancer survivor Victoria Jackson just revealed some sad news to her fans. The former Saturday Night Live comedian has developed a new problem, and she said she only has a few months left to live. It isn’t the breast cancer returning, though. She has an inoperable tumor in her windpipe.
Here is what Victoria said about her condition and how much longer she has to live.
Victoria Jackson Has Inoperable Tumor
Victoria Jackson took to social media to let her fans know that she is dying. The breast cancer survivor has a new medical affliction. Victoria says that she has an inoperable tumor in her windpipe.
According to the comedian, “They cannot operate and cut out the marble in my chest that is laying on my windpipe, and eventually would suffocate me to death.” Then, Victoria revealed what her treatment entailed. “They’re giving me a magic pill. It’s going to be delivered to my front door within the next 12 hours,” she added. “It’s based on Ribociclib, and it will shrink the marble, hopefully.”
Jackson then said she went online to find out more about the pill and said that people who take it “32.6 months to live — something like that.”
According to the New England Journal of Medicine, Ribociclib plus Endocrine Therapy “has been shown to have a significant overall survival benefit in patients.”
Victoria Jackson Has No Regrets
Whether the Ribociclib helps or not, Victoria Jackson seems like she isn’t scared of dying. “I’ve had a fantastic life,” she said. However, she added, “I’d like to see my grandson born — his name is Jimmy — in October and get to know [him] a little and I would like to see my daughter Aubrey have a baby.”
Victoria Jackson was a Saturday Nigth Live cast member from 1986 to 1992. She frequently made appearances on Weekend Update, and she also delivered impersonations of Roseanne Barr, Sally Struthers, and Zsa Zsa Gabor. She also appeared in several movies, including UHF, Dream a Little Dream, and The Pick-Up Artist.
However, her acting slowed when she became more politically outspoken. In 2011, she criticized Glee for promoting gay characters and wanted it replaced with a show that celebrated celibacy. She also began to promote several conspiracy theories, which caused Saturday Night Live not to invite her to attend its 40th Reunion episode.
Victoria revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2016. Earlier this week, she was in the hospital to get a CT scan to see if the cancer had spread. That led to the latest video with the sad news.

I wish no one ill, truly. It doesn’t go unnoticed to anyone that Victoria Jackson has spent a considerable amount of time using her voice to be unkind to marginalized people. It seems that there may be a message from the God she professes to “know” but whose message she clearly doesn’t understand: “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them.”
Maybe she should give some thought to what the higher meaning that this threat to her voice–and indeed to her being–means. Use your voice for kindness instead of viciousness.
I do hope she has a full recovery and the grace to do better.
Can you just shut up?! Who are you to be the moral judge of anyone?
I pray that all will be well with you. God will give you GRACE that is sufficient for what you’ve going through.
Praying 🙏 for the magic pill to work and get rid of the cancer.🙏🤗❤️
