Netflix Axes Mauricio Umansky’s ‘Buying Beverly Hills’
Reality television fans love exploring the love and drama between Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards. The exes play a starring role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But Netflix produced Mauricio’s own show, Buying Beverly Hills, back in 2022.
Sadly, the streaming platform has opted to end the show after just two seasons.
Read on to learn more about the decision and the couple’s dramatic future.
Buying Beverly Hills Isn’t Getting A Third Season
Although many tuned into Buying Beverly Hills to learn more about Mauricio and Kyle’s dramatic love life, viewers also loved seeing the family business grow.
The family’s four daughters stepped up to the plate to learn more about the luxury real estate business. It became a family affair and viewers were excited to see where the brand would go next.
Amid Kyle and Mauricio’s mounting marital tensions, they seemed incredibly proud of their daughters. They girls banded together to protect their family’s real estate empire.
The good news is that The Agency is alive and well. But fans won’t get a chance to watch it grow and thrive on reality television any longer. Sadly, a third season is not in the cards for the series.
As per Deadline, Netflix has pulled the plug on Buying Beverly Hills. The second season just premiered in March, which engaged fans’ interest in the family. But even so, Netflix couldn’t make the show work. The publication notes that it was an incredibly expensive series to produce and wasn’t pulling in the viewers necessary to justify the cost.
Many Netflix subscribers are sad to learn about the show’s cancelation. However, there are many similar shows on the platform. Selling Sunset will be back for Season 8 in just a few weeks.
In the meantime, fans can rewatch the first two seasons of Buying Beverly Hills anytime on the platform.
