Arianne Zucker is moving ahead with her lawsuit against a former Days Of Our Lives producer. The actress, who played Nicole Walker on the daytime soap opera, first filed the suit on February 7. As the upcoming court date approaches, new developments have occurred. Here is the latest on what Arianne is saying and why she’s pushing for the producers to be blacklisted.

Judge Rules That Arianne Zucker Can ‘Move Ahead’ With Lawsuit

Rolling Stone has reported that Arianne Zucker has been told by the judge that she can “move ahead” with her lawsuit that seeks to “bar a former producer from any future harassment in the industry.” The actress filed a lawsuit earlier this year against Corday Productions, which is the production company behind Peacock’s DOOL. She is also suing executive producers Ken Corday and Albert Alarr.

The most recent decision in hearing the case was issued on Thursday. A Los Angeles County judge ruled that Arianne Zucker would be able to move forward with the “disputed portion of her complaint.” She is seeking to bar Albert Alarr from engaging in any type of harassing behavior in the workplace in the future.

Much of the Days Of Our Lives star’s suit focuses on allegations of sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress on the set. The EP’s lawyers have been arguing that the judicial order under a section of California’s business code was not necessary. Albert Alarr isn’t currently employed. However, the judge didn’t agree.

Instead, Judge Kristin S. Escalante backed Arianne Zucker, stating that the “Plaintiff has alleged a long-standing course of conduct by Mr. Alarr. An inference arises from the facts alleged that the behavior would be likely to recur.”

Judge Escalante continued, saying that even though Albert Alarr isn’t currently working if the allegations against him can be proven, the judicial order could be deemed appropriate.

Days Of Our Lives Reps Continue To Deny Allegations

Arianne Zucker’s lawyer told Rolling Stone, “Ms. Zucker wants to ensure that no other woman can be harmed at the hands of Alarr again, and I will fight to make that happen.”

A spokesperson for Days Of Our Lives addressed the lawsuit earlier this year. They said that the allegations being made are “without merit.” In the statement, they said that Corday Productions offered to “renew Ms. Zucker’s contract, including offering her a pay increase.” When her counteroffer was rejected, the production studio alleges that she filed the suit in retaliation.

Days investigated Albert Alarr and promptly fired him, so they did not see the need to move forward with the lawsuit. Arianne Zucker isn’t backing down though.

The case is expected to be heard in court in October.
