‘RHOC’ Emily Simpson Sets Record Straight On Divorce Rumors

RHOC star Emily Simpson is setting the record straight on divorce rumors circulating about her and her husband, Shane Simpson. The two have been married for over fifteen years and have three children together. Although they have had their ups and downs, is it finally time for them to call it quits? RHOC Emily Simpson Sets Record Straight On Divorce Rumors

Emily Simpson and her husband, Shane have never had a conventional marriage. He proposed in a very lax and casual way but they have managed to make it work since 2009. Together, they have three children and his parents adore Emily. The couple both have been lawyers though he only was licensed in Utah. Upon moving to California, he struggled to pass the bar which Emily was successful at. Therefore, she was the one working full-time as well as wrangling the children and being a party planner. Eventually, Emily and Shane’s family convinced him to hunker down and take the bar.

It was challenging for the couple because he was off studying a lot and Emily was now doing almost everything. Finally, he did pass the bar which helped because it alleviated some financial stress off of Emily. One big test in their marriage was when Shane was dangerously sick with Covid. It was clear that Emily loved him and did not know what she would do without him. She proceeded to go on a fitness journey and now looks better than ever, even doing a sexy shoot for Shane.

That being said, rumors are swirling that they are getting a divorce but what is the truth? According to Meaww, Emily Simpson is setting the record straight about what is going on in her personal life. There was a clickbait post that the RHOC star saw about her marriage and she immediately responded:

“Hi! We’re not getting divorced! Shane is never getting rid of me! This is BS clickbait.”

Emily also opened up about her marriage on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast and shared how she thinks the show made her marriage stronger:

“I feel like us being on the show has made our marriage stronger and made us work as a unit better and made us better parents.”

Not Always Easy

It has not always been easy for the RHOC couple and they have no problem admitting their downfalls. Shane and Emily Simpson have been seen bickering on the show. There were times when she was more out there and wild than him which could be an issue. He even shared the struggles they faced:

“That was a lot with filming, with young children, you know finances, [and] not working… It was just a lot to deal with at the same time.”

This was before he finally passed the bar and was not pulling his weight which put an immense amount of stress on Emily. Things have softened and simmered down though she still worries for her husband. Shane is not into health like she is and recently complained about chest pains. Emily wants him to take his wellbeing more seriously so that is where the big problems come in. In the end, however, til death do them part.
