Josh Hall Faces Personal Tragedy During Divorce Battle
Josh Hall is having an incredibly difficult time at the moment. He and his ex-wife, HGTV star Christina Hall, are entangled in an incredibly ugly and unexpected divorce. He was supposed to be part of her new reality show, The Flip Off, but she reportedly continued filming without him amid their split.
As if the divorce wasn’t difficult enough, Josh recently suffered an incredibly tragic personal loss this week. Read on to see what he shared with his online followers.
Josh Hall Says Goodbye To A Dear Friend
On Instagram, Josh Hall shared that his close friend Gonzalo Galvez tragically lost his life to cancer.
“Today the best human I’ve ever known had his ticket punched by the evil cancer,” Josh wrote, adding that his friend fought bravely until the end. “This man was not famous, he was not rich or someone publicly known, but what he was, was a once in a lifetime human. He was an absolute living legend who left everyone that came into contact with him inspired.”
Josh and Gonzalo met while working for the LA County Sheriff’s Department. According to Josh, Gonzalo introduced him to a wider group of friends and served as someone to look up to. Gonzalo’s friends all took turns watching over his bedside until he passed on.
“The boys all came together from all over to be there for your final breaths. We aren’t going anywhere. Raquel, the kids and your family will have us to pick up the pieces til we are all gone. Your final words to me, ‘I love you Josh, it’s going to be ok.’ I love you Gonzalo Galvez. EOW 08-06-2024. 🙏🏼💙” Josh concluded his post.

Josh and Christina have a long way to go before their divorce is finalized. They don’t share any children together, so they need to divide their assets and figure out a spousal support plan. But for now, Josh might just need to take some time so mourn and heal.
