‘GMA’ Michael Strahan Shares Special News Upon His Return
Michael Strahan rejoined Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America Monday. He has been on hiatus for the last two weeks on vacation with his family in the Bahamas. The former NFL star had some special news to share upon his return. Keep reading to find out what it was.
Michael Strahan Adds A New Item To His Clothing Line
After appearing on GMA Monday morning, Michael Strahan took to Instagram to share some exciting news with his followers. The update was in relation to his clothing line, Michael Strahan Brand.
Apparently, there has been another addition to the collection. He’s added a suit jacket to the selection, and he modeled the piece himself. Michael shared several photos of himself in different jacket styles to announce the latest addition to the line.
He wrote, “It’s all about the SUIT JACKET. A timeless staple that every closet needs. Get to know more about Collection by Michael Strahan™ at @jcpenney.”

In addition to Michael Strahan Brand, the former NFL player also owns Collection by Michael Strahan and MSX by Michael Strahan, which were launched in 2015 and 2016.
His return to Good Morning America marked the star’s return to all of his work projects. It is well known that Michael has been facing some significant personal struggles over the last year.
GMA Host Has Had A Tough Year
The GMA host revealed earlier this year that his daughter, Isabella, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare type of cancerous brain tumor. The 19-year-old model was first diagnosed in October 2023. She had to have three brain surgeries and undergo months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Over the last year, Michael Strahan has been MIA from Good Morning America frequently so he could be there for his daughter. Isabella first announced her diagnosis on GMA in January. She sat alongside her dad and discussed how she found out she had cancer.
“I didn’t notice anything was off till probably like October 1,” she said. Her first symptoms included headaches and eventually nausea. Then, suddenly, she couldn’t walk straight. The 19-year-old influencer continued to keep everyone updated about her battle with cancer on her YouTube channel. In July, Isabella announced that she was officially cancer-free.
Michael Strahan briefly addressed his daughter’s condition during a recent episode of GMA. Kevin Jonas was a guest on the morning talk show and discussed undergoing surgery for a basal cell carcinoma found in his hairline.
Kevin remarked, “It’s nothing compared to everything you’ve gone through. Is everything alright?” The GMA co-anchor replied, “Everything is good.” Then Kevin sent his well wishes to Isabella and the rest of the family, saying, “Please send her our love. We are big fans of your family.”
Although Michael is back on GMA, fans can expect him to resume his normal Mondays-off schedule soon. The NFL season kicks off in the next few weeks and he will be covering football for Fox NFL Sunday again.
