With 22 years of marriage behind her and the arrival of four kids, Amy Slaton’s sister set off on a mission to lose weight and look good. She and her sister Misty went under the knife, and these days, TLC fans agree they look amazing. However, she’s careful to let fans know they should always consult a doctor before they change their lifestyle.
Some fans worried that TLC support character, Amanda Halterman might slide on her weight loss. She ended up ghosted by her boyfriend, RJ. And soon after that, it seemed that she’d found a new man. Fans felt sad because she moved from Kentucky to Florida to be with RJ. But, the new mystery man she was seen with appealed to her because he liked to pray for the family. However, Did she dump him for Jason or did she get back with RJ?
1000-Lb Sisters Star Talks About Men On Anniversary
Recently, the TLC star took to her TikTok and talked about how it’s been a year since she and Misty underwent their weight loss surgery. She talked about how it’s not just about surgery, but about lifestyle. For her, image was a big part of it. She didn’t feel she could get her life on track if she didn’t look and feel good. Additionally, she talked about soon returning to Kentucky. Is that to hook up with Jason again?
If you think that RJ is dead in the water, and so is Jason, you’d be right on one count but not the other. Amanda Halterman, it seems still maintains a relationship with RJ. But she never mentioned her ex, Jason Halterman. The 1000-Lb Sisters star said in her reel:
Lots of changes have happened for me in the past year. Recently in February I celebrated my anniversary with RJ. We’ve had our ups and downs in that year. And, we even had to take a moment, like ‘Is this what we really want?” But every relationship worth having is worth fighting for. And we’re working through [it.] I go into that relationship that I have with RJ because it’s kinda like the realtionship I have with food.
The TLC star explained that she “had to change the relationship” she had with RJ the same way she “changed the relationship she had with food.” Additionally, she talked about fueling your car, fueling your body, and fueling relationships. So, it sounds like Mr. Mystery Man is not with her. And, neither is Jason Halterman.
