The Valley Brittany Cartwright Evolving Amid Jax’s Inpatient Stint

When Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were on Vanderpump Rules, they had their struggles. He was a work in progress before she moved from Kentucky to California and sought therapy. Yet, he was not forthcoming with his therapist about his indiscretions until he had no other choice. In Season 6, he explored Reiki therapy thanks to Peter Madrigal. Yet, by Season 8, he struggled immensely after he and Brittany got married. Jax was on a downward spiral, backsliding, and his ex, Stassi Schroeder called him out. Before Season 1 of The Valley premiered, Brittany and Jax announced they had separated.

She maintained that he had a lot to do for their marriage to work so she left for her mental health. In the season finale, Jax said he was headed to therapy but never went. It further proved Brittany’s point that he could and would not take the proper steps to improve himself for their family. Now, he is finally in treatment, claiming he is doing it for their son, Cruz, 3 but Brittany is also working on herself. She shared a strong message on her Instagram about loving, living, evolving, and letting go.

Brittany Cartwright shared an inspirational post about becoming a woman whom she is proud of. More so, she is changing, and evolving, and is less tolerant of the things she was in her past. One thing that stuck out was how her “taste has changed.” Does that mean she is no longer interested in someone like Jax Taylor? Does his attitude and behaviors turn her off? Finally, it seems she is more ready now than ever to embrace who she was meant to be all along.

What Will Happen When Jax Comes Out?

As aforementioned, Jax Taylor has long talked about getting help for his mental health issues. However, he has never taken such a big step toward improvement. Before he left, he was caught in his driveway getting into it with his The Valley co-star, Danny Booko. It was captured for Season 2 so that may have been the catalyst that led him to reevaluate his behavior. He may come back as a changed person but will that be enough for Brittany Cartwright? Or, is it too little too late and she is tired of waiting? Maybe she really does like who she is away from Jax.

Do you think Brittany is better off without Jax and no matter what he does will never be enough? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
