Undoubtedly, one thing for certain about The View, when it is a hot and heavy political season, the panelists are not holding back! Currently, they are drawn to topics that are mainly focusing on the strange political atmosphere that exists in the United States. With the fast-approaching presidential election, the ladies are fired up about the current events. However, when things get a little too one-note, producer Brian Teta will sometimes shake up the show by dropping a shimmering Hot Topics bag that is full of mystery questions for the table. Before Whoopi Goldberg takes off for her August show hiatus, they grab a doozie of a question from the bag for Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin to discuss.
The View Sunny Hostin Explains Her Shocking Stance On Cheaters
Before Whoopi Goldberg takes off, she pulls a Redditor’s dilemma out of the bag for the ladies to weigh in on. Essentially, the user says they got a message from their girlfriend’s ex letting them know that she is a cheater and gave proof. “So, did the ex do the right thing by exposing her as a former cheater? Would you warn somebody if your ex had cheated on you?” Whoopi, 68, poses to the group.
While the table had many views on the matter immediately, Sunny Hostin says without missing a beat, “I want to know if somebody’s a cheater.” However, skeptically, Joy Behar bursts her confidence bubble by asking, “Your husband?”
When Joy changed up the situation, Sunny shocked viewers with an exception to her former blunt assertion. She switches her stance saying, “If it’s my husband, I don’t want to know if he’s cheating.” Then, Alyssa Farah Griffin quips, “Cause he’s already in the ground.” But Sunny thoughtfully elaborates, “I want to live my paradise, and I want him to carry his guilt and deal with it.” The table baffles, “You really wouldn’t want to know?” Sunny says, “No.” But she clarified her original impulse, “But if it’s somebody new and he’s a cheater… I mean there’s all kinds of diseases you could get.” As if her husband of 26 years cheating couldn’t bring home some of those “kinds of diseases.” But Sunny shrugs and says, “This is what happens Brian, when you pull somethin’ out of a bag.”
