Jenn Tran Hints ‘Bachelorette’ Fans Will Hate Her Final Choice?
Jenn Tran is a long way from handing out her final rose but she’s already doing damage control, hinting that fans will hate her choice. Keep reading for all the details on her reaction to the anticipated backlash.
Bachelorette Declines In Viewership
Jenn Tran’s season kicked off in early July to great ratings. It was reported that the Season 21 premiere had the best Bachelorette ratings in years. However, after four episodes, that number has seen a sharp decline.
According to TV Series Finale, the fourth episode of the ABC show saw a 16.85% decline in ratings since the premiere episode. Why are viewers tuning out? One reason could be that the 2024 Paris Olympics is taking away viewers. The show was also competing with Peacock’s Love Island.
Viewers Not Impressed By Season 21 Suitors
Jenn Tran’s season was controversial from the start. Some fans didn’t want her as the next Bachelorette, preferring Maria Georgas or Daisy Kent. According to Maria, Jenn was the network’s third choice after both she and Daisy turned it down.
To make matters worse, the suitors on Jenn’s season aren’t popular with viewers. Some viewers have questioned whether any of the men are on the show to find love or if they are looking for clout.
Contestant Sam McKinney recently accused the show of giving him the villain edit. Click here to read Jenn Tran’s response to the accusation.
Jenn Tran Hints Bachelorette Fans Will Hate Her Final Choice?
Despite his alleged villain edit, Sam M. is one of Season 21’s frontrunners, along with Devin Strader. Viewers won’t know for a few weeks how Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette journey ends. The season will likely end in late August, just before Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette premieres.
Without spoiling her season, Jenn Tran told Extra that she is happy with how her journey ended and has no regrets. However, she seemed to drop a hint that at least some viewers may not be happy with her choice.
“I’m happy with the end of my journey, so I hope that the audience is happy with my journey. And if they’re not, then, ‘See ya.’
She went on to give her season a 10/10 rating. Jenn Tran also shared her thoughts on TV weddings, though she didn’t reveal if her season ended in an engagement.
Jenn Tran is one of the few people who knows exactly how her season ended. Do you think she was trying to do damage control and get ahead of any backlash for her choice? Sound off in the comments.
