Jennie Garth, ’90210’ Cast Come Together To Mourn Shannen Doherty
The Beverly Hills 90210 cast, including Jennie Garth, were either teens or in their early 20s when the popular show made a splash in the 90s. All these years later, they are coming together in a big way to mourn the loss of one of their own, Shannen Doherty.
Beverly Hills 90210 Was One Of The Biggest Shows Of Its Time
Beverly Hills 90210 was the quintessential 90s teen drama of its day. While all of the main actors were either in their late teens or early 20s, many of them remained in the spotlight even after the show wrapped. Certainly, that’s how big of an impact the show had in its time.
Many of the cast members were able to branch out into other projects and build on the initial exposure that Beverly Hills 90210 gave them. Outside of the main cast, many people who got supporting/recurring roles on the show also ended up making it big later down the line. So, even decades later, viewers still think about this show, its cast, and what the show meant to them.
Many Still Mourn The Tragic Loss Of Shannen Doherty
One of those people who made a big splash as part of Beverly Hills 90210 was Shannen Doherty. She played the character of Brenda Walsh. Anyone who followed her career after that knows that she was able to use that recognition to branch out into other things as well.
Doherty passed away on July 13 following years of battling cancer. She was 53 at the time of her passing, as people continue to mourn her, share fond memories of her, and more. One of those groups that continue to mourn her loss is none other than her Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars.
90210 Cast Leaning On Each Other During Time Of Mourning
When you spend as much time filming, and when you spend as much time together in general as the Beverly Hills 90210 cast did, you make bonds that can last a lifetime. This is especially true since the cast was so young at the time that the show was popular.
All these years later, they have been able to come together and lean on each other for support during times of hardship or tragedy, and this loss of Shannen Doherty is no exception. Fellow cast member Jennie Garth recently talked about how the cast rallies around each other during this incredibly difficult time.

Jennie Garth recently told PEOPLE: “No matter what, there’s that connection there, and it will be there for the rest of each of our lives and beyond. I think just really honoring that connection, and we have been supportive. We do reach out to each other here and there and offer each other support and just tell each other we love each other.”
