‘Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney Dating ‘Love Island’ Bombshell?

Vanderpump Rules Katie Maloney Dating Love Island Bombshell?
Shortly after Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix opened up Something About Her, it was time for Madix to leave. She had to fly to Fiji to host one of her favorite shows, Love Island USA. This was a longtime dream of hers when she would watch the show with her friends and they knew that. With her as the new host, her friends and co-stars were back at home watching Love Island six nights a week. One of those people was Katie who ended up flying out to Fiji to spend time with Ariana. She also appeared on the Saturday night recap episode, Aftersun.
Upon watching Season 6, did Katie end up finding a bombshell from the Villa that she took a liking to? As it turns out, she connected with Connor Newsum who came in on day two and left on day fifteen. While in the Villa, he romanced JaNa Craig and Leah Kateb. He had a connection with Leah which made him leave JaNa but that did not pan out. Therefore, he was forced to leave the Villa. When he got home, however, he started pursuing fellow Islander Cass Laudano:
“She got out and I was like, ‘Hey, so what’s up?’ We’ve been texting and, maybe, potentially making some light plans. We got along really well. We had a lot in common. We had a few conversations that were just really easy and we work in the same career field. … We just had a lot of similar interests, love for animals. I think everyone saw that weird fishing conversation we had when I was making her grilled cheese. Just random stuff like that. She’s really easy to talk to, she’s gorgeous and just fun to be around.”
That seems to have fizzled, according to Us Weekly as Connor and Katie Maloney dined out together on Tuesday, July 30th. They were spotted at Studio City’s Laurel Tavern and were not with anyone else so this was clearly not a group date. The best part of it all is that Connor is from Santa Monica so he and Katie have California on their side. Cass, unfortunately, resided in Miami so that may have been an obstacle.
Meet Cute?
The big question is how the two of them met as he was no longer in the Villa or Fiji when Katie Maloney was down there. However, they do have Ariana Madix in common so she could have been the connection. An insider who saw Connor Newsum and Katie out said that she “looked amazing.” During Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, Katie played the field. She slept with show alum, Max Boyens and dated Tori Keeth who was Scheana Shay’s nanny. Now, it appears that she and Connor are on their own little Love Island. It will be interesting to see how this progresses.
