Peacock Launching ‘Real Housewives’ Dating Series Featuring Fan Faves
Peacock is launching a Real Housewives dating series featuring fan favorites from the various franchises. The streamer has seen immense success in such shows as The Traitors and the recent season of Love Island USA. It also had the exclusive rights to RHUGT so now it will capitalize on single housewives looking for love. So, who has been cast and is there a release date? Keep reading for more details.
Peacock Launching Real Housewives Dating Series
One of the biggest issues to emerge from the Real Housewives franchise is just how many housewives are now divorced. Or, how the show has negatively impacted marriages or long-term relationships that caused them to end. Now, it seems like there are more single “housewives” than married ones. So, it would only make sense to capitalize on that and put the best of the best on a reality dating show. So, who will be joining this series? According to People, it will be airing on Peacock and single men will be vying for the hearts of four infamous housewives.
Love Hotel, which could be changed as the show progresses, will star Countess Luann de Lesseps of RHONY fame. She started the series married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps. Together they had two children, Victoria and Noel but ultimately divorced after sixteen years. She then got married for a second time but that ended after seven months and landed her in rehab and on probation. Since then, she has been crazy busy with her Cabaret tours. Following her is RHOC star Shannon Storms Beador.
She has spent the last few seasons involved with John Janssen after she divorced her cheating husband, David Beador. In September 2023, she was arrested for a DUI hit and run and spent Season 18 with John’s new girlfriend, returning OC castmate, Alexis Bellino. Rounding out the cast is RHOP Gizelle Bryant whose ex-husband got engaged back in May. She will be joined by co-star, Ashley Darby who split from her husband in 2022 but they have not filed just yet.
When Will It Air?
There is no word when Love Hotel will air on Peacock and there will be no promotion at BravoCon 2024 as it will not occur this year. Usually, spinoffs like the RHUGT show their trailers and have panels at BravoCon to get fans excited. Unfortunately, it was alleged that Bravo wanted more time than the venue could offer. Therefore, it will go one next year, 2025, in Las Vegas. For now, fans can watch RHOC Thursdays on Bravo and catch up with RHOP and RHONY on Peacock.
