While there is a new Suits spinoff coming, one of the cast members of the original series just picked up a new TV role of his own. Patrick J. Adams, who starred as Mike Ross on the law-based TV show, has signed on to appear in the Fox anthology crime series Accused.

Here is what you need to know about Adams’s new role and what to expect from his appearance.

Suits Star Signs On For Accused

USA Network ended Suits in 2019. However, the show remains a beloved favorite thanks to its streaming on Netflix. Despite its popularity, it hasn’t meant big things for the cast. Gabriel Macht, who played Harvey Specter, hasn’t had a role in anything since the show ended.

Patrick J. Adams had a little more success. He got roles in Sneaky Pete and The Right Stuff before picking up a recurring role in Prime Video’s A League of Their Own. He also appeared in Plan B in 2023. Now, he is getting a shot in the Fox series Accused.

Adams and Jarrika Hinton (Stephanie Edwards in Grey’s Anatomy) have signed on to appear in the same episode of the crime anthology series (via TV Line). The two actors will appear in the installment titled “Marcus’s Story.” This sees a tech entrepreneur creating software that takes a dark turn. Hinton will play a character named Lycia, and Adams will play one named Pete.

Nick Cannon will be the “accused” in this episode as Marcus.
