‘The Flip Off’ Christina Hall Continues Filming As A Single Woman

As TV Shows Ace previously noted, The Flip Off is moving on without Josh Hall amid his split from Christina Hall. However, it seems like Christina remains intent on filming the series anyway.

Both the Halls and El Moussas have spent a lot of time and energy on promotional materials to showcase The Flip Off. The show can certainly continue in some capacity, but fans agree that it can’t continue in its original format if Christina is without a partner.

So what might happen now that Christina Hall is a single woman?

Christina Hall Resumes The Flip Off Production Without Josh

HGTV fans were stunned to hear that Josh and Christina Hall were pulling the plug on their marriage after three years together. Just days before their break-up, Christina told the press that she and Josh were incredibly happy together.

“I love where I live,” she told E! a few weeks ago. “I love my family, I love doing these shows. So I feel like everything’s going really well.”

But apparently, everyone wasn’t so jolly behind the scenes. Insiders close to the couple shared that Christina Hall absolutely never intended for her third marriage to end in divorce. But ultimately, she and Josh just weren’t on the same page any longer.

After hearing about the split, fans worried that HGTV would cancel The Flip Off. Thankfully that isn’t the case. But some changes are definitely in order.

PEOPLE reports that The Flip Off is still moving forward, even though Josh and Christina Hall aren’t together any longer. Initially, the show was supposed to be a competition-style show. The Halls would face off against Christina’s ex-husband and his new wife, Tarek and Heather El Moussa. They would go head to head and race to see who could successfully flip a house the fastest.

Now that Christina Hall is flying solo, having a couple-based competition seems a little awkward.

So What Can Fans Expect From Here?

Now that Josh is out of the picture, things definitely change a little bit. However, it’s not yet certain what the new structure looks like, PEOPLE confirms. More than likely, a few episodes have already been taped. Josh still remains in the promotional materials. HGTV could always edit him out, but it will take a lot of time, money, and production magic to make that happen.

Right now, The Flip Off is expected to hit HGTV in 2025. If they have to completely rehaul the series, fans may have to wait a little bit longer to tune in.

Are you surprised to learn that Christina Hall is continuing on with the show without Josh? How do you think the series will perform with Tarek and Heather El Moussa against just Christina? Add your voice to the conversation and share your thoughts in the comments.
