Bachelorette contestant Aaron Erb self-eliminated during the most recent episode to go back home to attend flight school. He has dreams of flying for the Air Force. But Bachelor Nation fans aren’t convinced Aaron had any interest in Jenn Tran in the first place. Was he a producer plant? Keep reading for more.

Was Aaron Erb There For The ‘Right Reasons’?

Bachelor Nation viewers had high hopes for Aaron Erb. After all, he’s the twin brother of popular alum Noah Erb. Aaron refers to himself as Noah’s older brother because he was born first.

Noah was a contestant on Season 16 of The Bachelorette and later joined Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise, where he eventually found love with Abigail Heringer. The couple plan to marry this fall.

In Aaron’s introduction package, he revealed his dreams of getting into flight school and flying fighter planes for the military. But he said he hadn’t heard back and was afraid the dream wasn’t going to happen.

Viewers were already fed up with Aaron Erb by the end of the second episode. He butted heads with competitor Devin Strader after Devin rudely interrupted Aaron’s time alone with Jenn Tran. In retaliation, Aaron gave Devin a book about self-growth. But longtime Bachelor Nation fans were immediately turned off because Noah was famously given a similar book by Bennett Jordan on Bachelorette in 2020.

Aaron was suspected of copying his brother or following instructions from producers in giving Devin the book. But then he received a phone call from flight school in the next episode, despite contestants being banned from having phones.

The Bachelorette suitor had to choose between staying and fighting for Jenn Tran or returning home to finish flight school. He chose his dream but spilled some tea on the way out. He told Jenn that some of the other men aren’t there for the right reasons. When pressed, he refused to name names, which didn’t sit well with viewers.

Did Producers Give Him The Next Bachelor Edit?

Bachelor Nation fans took to Reddit to discuss Aaron’s untimely exit. Many fans agreed that his final warning to Jenn made him look suspicious. One fan speculated that Aaron was only on the show to secure a spot on Bachelor In Paradise, which is returning in 2025. Click here to read more about the Season 21 suitor fans really want on BIP.

Another common theory is that Aaron Erb’s dramatic exit was to set the stage for him to be the next Bachelor. ABC confirmed that the show will return in early 2025 for Season 29.

  1. I liked him, but also know the whole show is messed up and is suppose to be just fun! Maybe in the end Jenn chooses herself.
