Where Can Hallmark Fans Watch Their Favorite Actresses On Grittier Series?
When Hallmark fans watch their favorite romcoms and mystery series, this is a comfort watch. However, some of the same actresses who are acting in this frothier world can certainly bring a lot of grit to roles that are not on the network. That includes a couple who are working on two different series with Yellowstone creator, Taylor Sheridan.
There are three new series that viewers may want to check out now and in the coming months.
WCTH Alum Kayla Wallace Stars In Landman
On When Calls The Heart, Kayla Wallace portrays Suffragette Fiona Miller. While Fiona is pretty fearless, she does not seem anything like the character that Kayla portrays in Landman. In this Taylor Sheridan series, she portrays liability lawyer Rebecca Savage. This character is “capable and intimidating.” Moreover, she is in West Texas to “clean up a mess.”
Catch Taylor, Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Billy Bob Thornton, and the rest of this ensemble cast when Landman premieres on Sunday, November 17, on Paramount+. This series is already renewed for Season 2, which will begin filming in early 2025.

Hallmark Star Eloise Mumford Is Starring In The Upcoming Amazon Prime Series Cross
It has been a while since Eloise Mumford has starred in a Hallmark movie. That is because she has been filming the upcoming Amazon Prime series Cross. On Instagram, the Presence Of Love star wrote, “You can call him Detective Alex Cross. #CrossOnprime is coming soon to @PrimeVideo. 👀 So proud to be part of this–just can’t wait for you to see…”
Cross is based on the James Patterson novels. Alex Cross is a police detective who uses forensic psychology to get into the minds of killers.
In this new Amazon series, Eloise portrays Shannon Witmer. However, there is no information about her character, or how many episodes of the eight she will be starring in.
Amazon Prime will drop Cross Season 1 on Thursday, November 14. It has already been renewed for Season 2.

Hallmark Alum Jill Wagner Stars In Lioness
Although Hallmark alum Jill Wagner has not made a Hallmark movie for several years, fans of the network are still following her. Moreover, many are following her in Taylor Sheridan’s series Lioness. This is not just a job for the Mystery 101 alum. She is one of the creators of this series.
The good news is that she is back with the Yellowstone creator for Season 2. This time, the Lioness team will go after the Mexican cartel. It seems likely that the new season will premiere on Paramount+ sometime in 2025.
Catch Lioness Season 1 on Paramount+.
Lastly, ChicagoOne is always a place to find a cornucopia of Hallmark stars. Flip on Fire, PD, or Med and watch such fan favorites as Torrey DeVitto, or Jessy Schram.
