Hallmark Releases First Look Video For ‘The Christmas Quest’ Starring Lacey Chabert, Kristoffer Polaha
Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas 2024 is going to be a special one. This year the network is celebrating the 15-year anniversary of this holiday tradition. Moreover, they are going big with movies. Most of all, one of the biggest movies this holiday season is The Christmas Quest. This movie stars Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha, two fan favorites of the network.
Now, they have released a First Look video that teases this special movie. Here is the video and what Lacey recently said about this big movie.
Hallmark Releases First Look Video For The Christmas Quest
Hallmark has released the First Look Video for the upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie The Christmas Quest. In this movie, Lacey is an archeologist, while Kristoffer portrays an Old Norse language expert. They are exes that are sent on a Christmastime adventure to search for a “legendary treasure.” However, the pair have to contend with others who also want their hands on this treasure.
In the video, Lacey tells him, “Grab your ice pick. It’s a treasure hunt!” The video teases beautiful Iceland. It is stunning. That also includes the couple who are all dressed up for an event, with Kris looking dapper in a tux, and Lacey in one of costume designer Keith Nielsen’s incredible creations.
This short clip certainly teases a very entertaining movie.
Lacey Chabert Reveals New Hallmark Countdown To Christmas Movie is An ‘Adventure’
The Christmas Quest is Lacey Chabert’s fifteenth Countdown To Christmas movie. However, she recently told First For Women, this movie is unlike anything she has ever done before.
It’s an adventure, so is a different type of Christmas movie than I’ve ever done before. We got to be in Iceland and film in ice caves, waterfalls, and ice glaciers. I love this movie so much, and Kristoffer is wonderful.
While Polaha and Chabert have both done a cornucopia of hit holiday movies, The Christmas Quest is their first together.

Lacey Chabert Is Also Starring In Netflix’s Hot Frosty
In addition to her upcoming Countdown To Christmas movie The Christmas Quest with Kristoffer Polaha, Lacey Chabert is also starring in her first Netflix movie, Hot Frosty. In this romcom, she portrays a widow whose heart is uplifted when a snowman comes to life. This is written by Russell Hainline, who wrote Hallmark’s 2023 hit The Santa Summit. Lacey confirmed that this is an entertaining movie.
It’s a fun movie about the joy of Christmas, and I love telling these stories.
She also added that she is excited to expand her reach. “I’ve been in the business for a very long time, and I’m so thankful to expand my platform.”
