Ariana Madix Attempted To Do Away With This Love Island Staple

She may have only appeared at very pivotal moments of Love Island USA but Ariana Madix was well aware of everything that was going on in Season 6. There were couplings, recouplings, breakdowns, happiness, hookups, and Casa Amor. It was a very interesting summer and her first as host of the smash hit Peacock reality series. More so, this was one of Ariana’s favorite shows of all time and to get to be a part of it was unreal. That being said, she recently sat down to chat about one piece of this season’s history she tried to do away with.

Season 5 star Rob Rausch returned for Season 6 in an attempt to find love all over again. That happened a few times with him. The final time, he was saved from elimination by returning bombshell, Kassy Castillo. They initially met in his first season but didn’t make it to the final four. That being said, he may have changed women but he was committed to one thing: his overalls. According to People, Ariana actually tried to get rid of them when he was prepping for Casa.

Ariana Madix went to the girls’ dressing room and inquired about a pair of overalls that she could “get rid of.” Seems she was not the only one who was done seeing him wear them on a regular basis, regardless of the occasion:

“It’s a lot. Listen, maybe once is fine, but I feel like this man just will not stop wearing the overalls. I am like, stop trying to make overalls a thing. It’s not a thing, it’s not going to be.”

Fans grew tired of the overalls and made comments on Twitter/X about how he needed to do away with them:

New Overalls

Despite everyone hating on Rob Rausch’s overalls, the Love Island USA star was gifted with a brand new pair. When he appeared on the Saturday, July 20th episode of Aftersun, he was given a custom Love Island pair. They were made by Maura Higgins and Cely so he immediately hopped into them.

As to whether or not he will stop wearing them is to be seen but this seems to be Rob’s fashion staple. No matter how Ariana Madix tried, she just could not win the overall battle.
