In addition to being a chart-topper, business owner, and loving husband, Blake Shelton is all about giving back to the community. This is especially true with causes he cares about. Recently, he announced that he would lend his voice to help hungry children. So, what else do we know about this situation?

Blake Shelton could easily hang his hat on the success of his music career alone. He is one of the biggest names in country music still actively touring and putting on a memorable show. As longtime fans know, he was a judge on The Voice for a long time, and he spent years mentoring young talent, and cracking jokes along the way.
Along with that, Blake Shelton also has a happy home life. There have been tabloid rumors for months about there being trouble in paradise with his wife, Gwen Stefani. However, the pair have squashed those rumors at every turn, as they recently went on a family trip to Rome.

With Blake Shelton being in the public eye as someone who a lot of people look up to, he shoulders that responsibility with grace and humility. As successful as he is in all areas of his life, he gives off the impression that he is the kind of guy you can approach on the street.
Blake is also not shy about opening his checkbook for causes he cares about. Back in May, Shelton forked over $40k, bidding on the chance to have a walk-on role in a future Mark Wahlberg film. The money he spent went toward a good cause, and Shelton will get the chance to appear in a film in some capacity with the popular actor. Overall, this is a win-win.
Blake Shelton Lends His Voice To Help Hungry Children
Blake Shelton recently announced his partnership with the No Kid Hungry campaign. Along with lending his voice and resources to this good cause, Blake also announced that he has a new, limited-edition spatula with Williams Sonoma.
Along with sharing a pic of this one-of-a-kind spatula with his millions of followers, complete with a corn design, Blake Shelton wrote:
“The fact there are kids who go to bed hungry is something I can’t live with. That’s why I’m lending my voice and resources to the @nokidhungrycampaign. The collectible spatula sells for $17.95 on the Williams Sonoma website. According to the official site: “The sale of each spatula provides 180 meals to children in need through Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.”
