‘The Flip Off’ Josh Hall Is Out Amid Divorce From Christina Hall
HGTV’s highly anticipated series, The Flip Off, will reportedly go on as scheduled. However, there is going to be a bit of a shake-up.
The show was supposed to be about a race to flip houses between exes Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa and their new spouses. Both couples heavily promoted the show on social media. But this week, news broke that Josh and Christina Hall were divorcing.
So what will the show look like moving forward?
The Flip Off Is Moving Forward Without Josh Hall
HGTV’s new series The Flip Off isn’t expected to hit the network until 2025. But already, there’s trouble behind the scenes. Josh Hall is reportedly parting ways with the series, leaving his ex Christina to move forward with it.
“They are in production of The Flip Off without Josh. They’re moving forward with the show without him,” an insider shared, as reported by Yahoo! News. The source also alleged Josh and Christina have been struggling in their marriage for quite some time.
While the news of the split took many fans by surprise, those close to the couple saw it coming.
TMZ shared that Josh wants alimony from Christina in the split. He also wants the rights to all shows they produced together during their marriage, which would include The Flip Off.
In all likelihood, this will take some time to settle. Promotional materials for The Flip Off feature Josh Hall, so there will have to be some major production shifts to remove him from the show moving forward. It isn’t currently known if production will reshoot episodes, or simply eliminate him from future episodes.

Tarek & Heather El Moussa Admit To Being “Stressed”
Amid the news of the Halls’ divorce, the El Moussas shared on Instagram they’ve been stressed lately.
“A little life recap. The 4th was fun with friends & the concert was amazing but we’ve had a lot of overwhelm and stress lately, so we decided to get out of town & go to the quiet mountains (where heather grew up) And decompress. We used DND 🎧 and airplane mode a lot,” Heather posted on Instagram, just days before news of the divorce broke.
The former Selling Sunset star didn’t share details, but it stands to reason hiccups with The Flip Off were to blame.
