Bachelor Star Embraces Social Media Influencer Lifestyle After Reality TV
Along with Ashley Iaconetti, Tia Booth is one of several Bachelor Nation stars who pivoted to using social media for profit after leaving reality TV. Viewers first met Tia when she was a contestant on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. She was eliminated during hometown dates.
She went on to join Season 5 of Bachelor In Paradise, briefly romancing Colton Underwood, who later came out as gay. In 2021, Tia Booth met Taylor Mock at a party. The couple welcomed a son, Tatum, a little over a year into their relationship and married in 2023.
Tia Booth Mock shares many aspects of her life on social media, but it recently became too much for her. She took a break for her mental health. The couple is also currently trying for baby number two.
But knowing that her followers are heavily invested in her life, she returned to Instagram with an update on Tatum.
Tia Booth Opens Up About Son’s Developmental Delays
Tia Booth Mock’s son will turn two years old in December. But she shared on social media that he isn’t walking yet. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the average age at which a child starts walking is 12 months. If a child isn’t walking by 18 months, seeking a doctor’s opinion is recommended.
That’s exactly what Tia Booth Mock did. She took him to an outpatient PT clinic and shared an update after his third visit. A Reddit user summarized what the Bachelor Nation star shared on social media.
According to Tia, her son isn’t a late bloomer. He physically can’t do what is required to walk due to weakness in his quads and core. She shared that PT is working with Tatum on squat training to improve his lower body strength.
Shares Regrets Over Tatum’s Struggles
The Bachelor Nation star got emotional when she shared how difficult it was to listen to her young son cry during PT. She said that his confidence is low due to his developmental delay.
Tia Booth Mock also regretted not taking Tatum to a doctor sooner. She said her husband has the same regret. Instead, they thought their son simply didn’t want to walk, not that he couldn’t walk.
