Alabama Barker Admits Feeling Fat, Taking Drugs
While Travis Barker’s daughter, and The Kardashians star, Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter, Alabama Barker has previously clapped back at trolls for calling her fat, she is struggling to shake it now. Unfortunately, some of those comments are hitting home with her and she admits now she is feeling fat. Likewise, she shocks fans by admitting to taking drugs.
Alabama Barker Previously Stood Up To Haters
Travis Barker and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler share daughter Alabama Barker. Sadly, she is battling a negative body image after years of online criticism. Likewise, her stepmom, Kourtney Kardashian’s family, the Kardashian-Jenners, can sometimes give unrealistic expectations of what someone should look like. In the past, she has clapped back at haters for calling her fat or assuming she has undergone plastic surgery. At that time, she revealed her weight was part of a larger health struggle that she was fighting. Likewise, each time allegations of her having surgery always came with her pushing back insisting she is “natural” aside from her lip fillers. But now, she seems to be tired and just wants to fit the image others think she should.
Alabama Barker Admits Feeling Fat And Taking Drugs
In a TikTok video, Alabama Barker applies makeup and talks to viewers. Admittedly, she says she is struggling with her body the way it is. She says, “I have, like, this thing where I photograph so ugly, and people are like, ‘Oh, my God — you’re so fat, and you’re so ugly.’” Undeniably, she wants people to see her for who she is and thinks they would have a different perspective if they met her. She says, “And it’s, like, I see what you guys are seeing, but just, like, meet me in person. I feel like I don’t look like that.”
But then she flips her stance and tells fans she is feeling fat. Saying, “But I’m on weight-loss medication because I’m tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre.” Although she talks about using drugs to address her weight, she doesn’t specify which weight loss drug she is on.
Like Mother, Like Daughter?
While Alabama Barker didn’t give fans the name of the drug she is taking, some people question if it is the same as her mom, Shanna Moakler. Last month, her mom revealed she took Mounjaro. Furthermore, she states she used to “eat the pain away” after losing both parents in 2023. Undoubtedly, it is a difficult loss for her. She told People, “I was in a very, very dark place.” Additionally, she shares, “I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising.” Then, sums it up to, “I just ate like s–t.” Without a doubt, it took its toll, “I was so devastated, and I missed my f–king mom and dad.” Moreover, weight loss drugs are becoming more acceptable as many people are looking for answers to losing a few pounds to hundreds. Alabama frequently posts pictures to feel better about herself, but sadly is finding many critics along the way.
