Kelly Ripa Admits She Fakes ‘Loving’ Road Trips With Mark
Recently, Live With Kelly And Mark host, Kelly Ripa gave fans a progressive update on her road trip with Mark Consuelos. But she shares her secret to passing the time is to fake liking the travel with Mark.
Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Hit The Road
Both Kelly and Mark like traveling, but at times they have to get creative to make it through. During a road trip over the weekend, the Live With Kelly And Mark co-hosts, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos got in a jam…a traffic jam. While they were hitting the road on Sunday, July 14, they found themselves stuck in heavy traffic with nowhere to go. Having a good sense of humor, Kelly began documenting the grueling journey with her husband. As they crept by, so did the time. So Kelly couldn’t help but give the sad updates as they inched forward on their trek.
Kelly Ripa Admits She Fakes ‘Loving’ Road Trips With Mark
In the first photo on her Instagram Story, Kelly Ripa shows they are not amused with the delay. She posts a photo with Willie Nelson’s “On The Road Again” playing in the background. Sitting side by side in the car, Kelly shows off no makeup, braids, and a relaxed smile as Mark stares at the road ahead intently. On the photo, she adds text, “The sun finally came out,” as she looks for the bright side of crawling forward.
Through the windows, they were surrounded by a wooded area with bright green grass. But as they settled in for the wait, Kelly updated with a similar photo, with a slightly bigger smile. But she reveals the secret to getting through a road trip is to fake “loving” it. She adds new text, “Pretending we love a road trip.” Mark’s face is neutral but says, “not loving it.”
Her Smile Slips As The Trip Seemingly Never Ends
As the car was essentially in “park,” Kelly Ripa showed a stream of vehicles piling up around them. Then, she adds, “Oh lord.” Furthermore, as the ride continued with little progress, Kelly shared another photo showing her less-than-impressed look. At this point, she had added a sun hat and sunglasses and stated: “Of course now it’s sunny.” Undeniably, the tone changed with the long wait in traffic and the sun was no longer a positive aspect for her. Likewise, her post shows her smile has slipped off her face and now is a flat line of annoyance. Now, pretending is getting even harder as they remain in a long line to move freely again.
