Justin Hartley Gushes About Working With Wife Sofia Pernas
On Saturday, Justin Hartley was at the TCA Summer 2024 to talk about his hit series Tracker. He portrays Colter Shaw, a reward seeker who can find anyone. The CBS series premiered after the Super Bowl, and it was an instant hit. This was the number-one series on television.
Best of all, there was a cornucopia of his previous co-stars who guest starred or directed episodes. However, the person he most loves to work with is his wife, Sofia Pernas. The couple first met on the set of Young And The Restless nearly a decade ago. They reconnected later, and now, they are working on another CBS. The This Is Us star would not have it any other way.
According to US Magazine, He considered “carpooling” just one of the many perks of working together. But, it does not stop there. “She’s wonderful, I mean, if I had my choice, I’d spend every minute with her.”
Justin also shared that working with her affects his job. “She elevates scenes, and so it makes my job easier, actually. But yeah, it’s just wonderful to work with her.” He shared that there is a rivalry between Colter Shaw and Billie Matalon. Pernas ups the ante when she portrays this character. “She brings so much, like layers to that character.”
He also hinted that there will be more in the future. He questions when Colter can trust her and points out that “she hasn’t proven that you can trust her. So we’ll see how that evolves. It’s just a lot of, you know, a lot of room to work with that relationship.”
Tracker Season 2 Starts Production
According to industry site Creative BC, Tracker Season 2 starts production on Tuesday. This will continue until April 22, 2025. Best of all, Justin Hartley has already shared that his wife Sofia Pernas will reprise her role as Billie Matalon several times.
In addition, other stars including Jensen Ackles and Melissa Roxburgh will be returning, despite other television commitments. There could be more surprises. Fans will just have to wait til the series returns.
When Does Tracker Season 2 Premiere?
According to Deadline, CBS has announced the Tracker Season 2 premiere is on Sunday, October 27, 8:30-9:30 p.m., Eastern, or 8-9 p.m., Pacific. Starting the next week, November 3, the time slot will be official. It will be 8-9 p.m. for all time zones.
