‘RHOC’ Tamra Judge Shares Status With Estranged Daughter, Sidney

RHOC star Tamra Judge is sharing the current status with her estranged daughter, Sidney. She has talked about their past issues but now she has addressed them again as Season 18 has begun. So, where does she stand with her eldest daughter and are things getting better? Keep reading for more details.

RHOC Tamra Judge Shares Status With Estranged Daughter, Sidney

Tamra Judge started on RHOC in Season 3 and boasted herself as the “hottest housewife.” At the time, she was married to Simon Barney and they had three children together. Their oldest was Spencer followed by Sidney and then little Sophia. Additionally, Tamra had her son, Ryan from her first marriage who caused a wedge between her and her husband. Yet, Tamra also struggled with Simon because he was controlling and she clearly is not that kind of woman. At the end of Season 5, she told him she wanted a divorce and moved on with Eddie Judge.

As for her kids, viewers stopped seeing them as they were minors and Simon would not allow them on TV. They did still live with Tamra however one day, Sidney told her she did not want to do that anymore. Sadly, Sidney left and never came back. It looked like they reconciled but Tamra shared photos that Sidney wanted to stay private. Now that Season 18 is underway, her youngest daughter, Sophia can finally film as she is of age. Tamra shared Sidney is still estranged as she took Simon’s side and does not talk to any of them. Yet, have things changed at all?

According to Reality Tea, it seems Sidney is opening up the communication. It is a slow-moving train but there is progress, per Tamra Judge. She was on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast and had this to say:

“She is reaching out to her brother and sister now, so that’s good news. So we do have some progress.”

It’s been eight years since Tamra first acknowledged how Sidney exited her life and what exactly she said:

“My oldest daughter, Sidney, said, ‘I don’t want to live with you anymore. You’ve ruined my dad’s life.’ [She] left that day and has not come back.”

Tamra did attend Sidney’s high school graduation but her daughter maintains that she was forced to invite her due to her father’s wishes. However, she gave her mother conditions and it appears those were not followed.

Still A Proud Mother

Despite the estrangement, Tamra Judge is still a proud mother. She shares Sidney’s achievements as she shared that she’s got a very successful career:

“She’s very successful, she’s in the film industry, as well, behind the camera. So she’s doing amazing things with her life, and that’s all I can really wish for.”

Fans do not know what has gone on behind the scenes to have led to this, they only know what Tamra says. Hopefully, they can find common ground before it’s too late and nothing can be resolved. Fortunately, Sidney is reaching out to her siblings which is a huge step in reconciliation.
