Even Eric Mabius Was Blindsided By Signed, Sealed, Delivered Bombshell News
On Friday, the latest Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters premiered. Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson reprised their roles as Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman. It has been three years since the last movie.
The story was about adjustments, particularly with newlyweds Shane and Oliver. The honeymoon was over. They even went to couples therapy to work out their issues. It is a good thing because at the end, Shane revealed they were having a baby!
Speaking to TV Insider, Eric revealed he was “surprised” by this baby news. “I can usually anticipate what Martha [Williamson]’s going to do, but I didn’t see that coming in this movie.” However, he admits, it all made “sense.” Also, it mirrored Rita and Norman’s adoption of a baby girl.
It’s exciting because they’ve had training wheels in the form of best friends, Norman and Rita, who have been sort of moving through uncharted waters. This movie is largely about trying to figure out what makes them ready to pursue a life together, and the next logical step is really the finale of this movie, which opens up to a whole new world of possibilities, having them both going through this at the same time as well.
Now, POstables have to wait for the next movie. But, the Ugly Betty star would not give any hints of what is to come. Yet, he did say that he did not see the franchise “slowing down” any time soon.

When will POstables see the fourteenth movie, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Moon And Back? The POstables, Oliver, Shane, Norman, and Rita, will be back in 2025. Thankfully, they filmed both A Tale Of Three Letters and To The Moon And Back back-to-back.
However, Hallmark has not shared when in 2025 viewers will get to see this movie.
