POstables Will See Different Side Of Oliver In New ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’
POstables know that Eric Mabius’ Signed, Sealed Delivered character Oliver O’Toole is all about his set of rules. However, in the latest installment entitled A Tale Of Three Letters, he has a new challenge.
What does the Ugly Betty alum have to say about this new Hallmark movie?
POstables Will See A Different Side Of Oliver In New Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Hallmark Mystery is premiering the latest Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters on Friday. However, Eric Mabius, who portrays Oliver O’Toole in the long-running Hallmark series, has a warning for POstables.
Speaking to US Magazine, the 53-year-old actor warned, “Oliver is a wordsmith and he’s anachronistic and you know, he’s a stickler for rules.” Yet, in this upcoming episode, the normally “two uptight” newlywed” will now look a little different.
He’s also evolving in such a wonderful way and…putting Oliver and Shane together as a married couple, it sort of rewrites all the rules.
There is a lot of change in the air.
A Tale Of Three Letters Is Right After The Honeymoon
In the latest Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters, it takes place just as Oliver and Shane return from their honeymoon in the UK. Of course, the last movie, The Vows We Have Made, which premiered three years ago, showed the couple finally tie the knot. Now, they are learning how to be a married couple.
Eric Mabius hinted that “just as in life” fans will see “successful, interesting, remarkable human beings as individuals” transform as they are part of a team. He added that when they are “together with someone else and there’s all kinds of strange side [effects], evolution and regression in the character.” Then he added, “You shift roles constantly in a relationship.”
What sorts of problems will Shane and Oliver encounter? The hurdles are something all roommates struggle with. That includes Shane leaving her shoes everywhere. Then, Oliver decides to adjust an old clock. Eric points out “The real work begins when you get married, right?”
He pointed out there is an adjustment period when you live with someone. However, when you marry, your life transforms. “We find ourselves acting in ways we could never have imagined.”
However, there will not be any arguing or disagreements. But they will see that they each have their “own set of rules” that may not serve them now that their relationship has changed. Instead, they need to learn that this is an opportunity for growth.
Don’t miss the premiere of Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters on Friday, July 12, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Mystery. In addition, this new movie will be available on the streaming service Hallmark Movies Now on Saturday, July 13.
