‘Jeopardy!’ Champ Calls Out Network For ‘Rude’ Decision
Jeopardy! fan-favorite Isaac Hirsch called out the network for making a “rude” decision during the most recent broadcast of his game. Oftentimes, game shows like Jeopardy! are interrupted for various reasons, but Isaac couldn’t believe the network decided to cut in when it did. Keep reading to see why and how fans reacted.
Jeopardy! Game Interrupted For Press Conference
President Joe Biden cut into the Jeopardy! broadcast on Thursday to deliver a speech. Unfortunately for viewers, it was cut off just before Ken Jennings had the chance to announce the Final Jeopardy! category.
The ABC breaking news report of President Biden’s press conference cut the game short.
Those who were lucky enough to be able to tune in to the end of the episode saw Isaac win his seventh consecutive game. After yet another win, he took to social media to share his thoughts on the network interruption.
He wrote on X, “I don’t want to get too political but I think it was pretty rude for President Biden to preempt Jeopardy for a press conference.” Then, Isaac added, “‘I must be stopped’ as Jeopardy champion and that he would ‘shave (my) mustache off’ with his bare hands.”
Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on his wardrobe and he fired back in good humor. One Jeopardy! fan commented, “Isaac did you not pack enough fun shirts and now they’re sticking you with the show’s more restrained options?”
“All my other fun shirts didn’t pass Jeopardy’s camera test so now we’re on to my ‘job interview’ shirts,” he wrote back.
Fans Weigh In On Isaac’s Unique Style
The Jeopardy! champ has become known for his original style on the game show. He’s sported a number of ’70s-style shirts and suits since appearing on Jeopardy! a week ago.
One viewer wrote on Facebook about his style last week. “That current champion looks like a 70s porn star,” they wrote, while another viewer joked that he looked like he “hit Studio 54” after filming the episode.
Isaac took to Instagram to address some of the comments he’s received on his clothing. “The Internet is divided on my love of 70s menswear,” he wrote in the caption. “Good news for the haters: I am almost out of vintage shirts approved by wardrobe.”
He continued, “So if I keep winning, the fits are going to get a lot more subdued. I should also mention my last two shirts were gifts from my stylist/girlfriend.”
The Jeopardy! contestant revealed he’s somewhat game show royalty. His dad, Steve Hirsch, appeared on Jeopardy! during Season 2 in 1985.
He’s also appeared on other game shows in the past, including ABC’s The Chase where he won $140,000 and defeated Buzzy Cohen. (Jeopardy! fans might remember Buzzy’s nine-day winning streak on the trivia game show.)
Isaac also appeared on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in 2017, taking home $5,000.

First of all, Isaac is NOT a fan favorite !! He’s a creep and he’s creepy. He’s just as bad as the last contestant, drew !! Both obnoxious and too much into themselves !!! Wish he wud stop looking at the camera every time he answers a question !!
2ndly, who is HE to be offended at the so called “rude” interruption of the president ! This guy, Isaac, is really a loser ! And shave the 70’s porn star stache ! Not a good look !!
I pray everyday he loses. ever since he said he won on every money show it did it for me. An ecotistical creep.
