Days Of Our Lives Resurrects Two Characters In Shocking Plot Twist
Days of Our Lives viewers were first introduced to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) on the digital spin-off series Chad & Abby in Paris. His story continued on Chapter Two of Peacock’s Beyond Salem series.
The actor brought Li to the main show in 2020. He eventually got tangled up with Gabi (then played by Camila Banus) but divorced her so she could be with her true love, Stefan (Brandon Barash.)
It was his connection to Gabi that resulted in his death. He was stabbed to death and Gabi was suspected as the culprit. She went to prison for the murder in 2023 but it was recently revealed that she didn’t kill her ex.
Gabi was just freed from prison after the show recast with Cherie Jimenez. According to The Sun, Connie Vinniski is the true killer. Li returns for an episode to hunt his murderer.
Soap Fans React To Twist
Gil Carter, played by David S. Lee, was only on the soap for one month. He was hired by Clyde Weston (James Read) to spy on Ava (Tamra Braun.) However, Ava ended up shooting and kill Gil.
The character was resurrected for a flashback involving Li’s death. DOOL fans had little attachment to Gil, but many fans are hoping Li will come back from the dead for real.
