Ashley Iaconetti Slams Kelly Ripa For Questioning Jenn Tran
Ashley Iaconetti slammed Kelly Ripa for questioning Jenn Tran. She does not like the way Kelly always finds a way to slam Bachelor Nation. Ben Higgins also spoke out on the fact. Jenn Tran Questions Kelly Ripa Back
Jenn Tran is the current Bachelorette. She is the first Asian lead role and there are a lot of new things that are taking place in her season. She announced that the men would only be staying one night in the mansion and then would be traveling to Melbourne, Australia. They also had a new mansion for the season. Kelly Ripa questioned Jenn Tran on why she wanted to be in the lead role. Jenn snapped back:
“I have a question. Where did you meet your husband? On TV, no?”
However, Kelly was quick to defend her marriage.
“Those are not the same. We were both professional, are you acting on your show? I didn’t marry [Mark’s character] Mateo Santos. I married Mark Consuelos.”
Ashley Iaconetti Disapproves
This interview rubbed Ashley Iaconetti the wrong way.
“It disappoints me when I see that Kelly Ripa has such an ax to grind with The Bachelor franchise, every time we have a lead go on the show to promote it, she always seems to be so skeptical of — a little bit of the lead, and their decision to be the lead — and also just the process.”
There are a lot of people who love the show. Ashley also pointed out how there are many reality TV shows that are “much more trashy”. Bachelor is not one of those. Ashley found her husband, Jared, with the franchise as well. It does work for some people. They now have a beautiful marriage and life together.
It seems that Kelly does not like the Bachelor world. However, the fanbase for the franchise is huge. Ben and Ashley were happy that Jenn questioned her back. Ben explained how it can get uncomfortable. However, even though she does not like the show, she is never mean to her guests.
