Katie Maloney has revealed that she had to get lip filler due to a scary accident. This occurred in 2009. She has been getting lip filler since soon after the accident happened. Katie is beautiful and has opened up about why she had to use lip filler. She also opened up about her mental health due to the accident and how she has navigated that. Something About Her Opens
Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix have been talking about their sandwich shop, Something About Her, for over a year. Fans were ecstatic when they announced they were going to be opening up a shop of their own. However, that quickly went away when the opening date kept getting pushed back. Fans were unsure if the shop was ever going to open. However, it ended up opening this year and seems to be a success. Katie is having to do a lot on her own since Ariana is in Fiji filming Love Island USA.
Katie Maloney Reveals Scary Accident And Lip Filler
Katie has revealed that she had a scary accident in 2009. This accident is the reason she gets lip filler.
“We sit down on this massive skylight and we’re taking some selfies, and then I felt it sort of dip in a little bit. Seconds later, it broke,”
She ended up breaking her jaw, collarbone, and ribs and had some teeth missing. She also suffered a brain injury. She then revealed that she got lip filler to even her lips out.
“I had scar tissue on [one] side, I used it to give my lips more volume on that side of my face mostly.”
She fell 25 feet from the skylight. Katie also went onto say that her brain was harder to heal than any of her body parts. Fans were shocked to hear this.
It seems that her lips were just a little messed up from the accident. However, she wanted to feel confident in herself and has been getting lip filler since then. Katie wanted her lips to be more even. Fans do not blame Katie for wanting to feel confident in her body.
